No! ReadCube’s Web Reader, like its desktop (PC/Mac), iOS and Android Apps are all free to download - no subscription needed. You do not have to register with ReadCube to view the article either - only if you would like to save the article to your ReadCube library or save your notes and annotations.
Do I need a Readcube subscription or do I need to be a registered ReadCube user to view a shared article?
