Overview of the Changes

The 2.7 update brings improved support for Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks and updates the built-in CSL styles.

Bug fixes and improvements

  • Fixed an issue on 10.9 Mavericks where the inspector would permanently hide
  • Fixed an issue on 10.9 Mavericks where the preview would show as a divider only
  • Fixed an issue where the Web of Science search would no longer work
  • Fixed an issue where PMIDs and ISBN numbers would not show in reference styles
  • Fixed a crash caused by the new app-nap feature
  • Hitting escape now exits from the search field
  • Fixed an issue where Year would be shown as a placeholder for empty months in publication dates
  • Fixed an issue where the PDF search results would no longer show after switching inspector tabs
  • Fixed an issue where search results could not be flagged in the result list
  • Fixed an issue where the bookmarklet would open Papers3 instead of Papers2
  • Fixed an issue with parsing DOIs and Publication dates from RIS files
  • Fixed an issue with Endnote XML export of journal names
  • Fixed an issue where tweeting from the app would no longer work
  • Fixed an issue where the auto-updating of CSL styles would stop working
  • Updated the built-in CSL styles

Papers for iOS

We advise to upgrade to Papers for iOS 1.9.20, this free update is available in the iTunes App Store.
