Introduction to the ReadCube Web Reader

The ReadCube Web Reader is designed to provide an accessible, simple, and enhanced viewing experience for your academic content directly from your Web Browser.  Below is the default view that is initially presented – loading time is minimal, and the first page of the article is displayed. At first glance, the embedded PDF looks very similar to a PDF viewed in the browser.



The below guide has been designed to walk new and veteran ReadCube users through the various features available when viewing content in the Web Reader.  All ReadCube Web Reader features have an existing support article that go into more detail on how to use them properly.  For more information, please see the full list of available articles.

Badge Features
 
The side panel can be opened by clicking on any of the icons in the vertical menu bar on the left side. The article view is automatically adjusted to fit the side panel when opened and includes the following features:
